New updates to the ARB: Personal & Small Business mobile app are coming this month! Here's a quick summary of what you can expect.
We've added some great new features to make digital banking easier. You can now change your user ID and password, send money to other banks, and enjoy a fresh look for your accounts and transactions. We've also improved bill pay, added running balances, and included more transaction details. Plus, you'll find Zelle® QR codes, account and routing number visibility, and personal finance tools.
The login screen now lets you open an account online, reset your password, and access tutorials and the clientsupport knowledgebase for quick self-serve support.

External Transfers¶
You can now do both internal transfers (between two American Riviera Bank accounts)and external transfers (from an American Riviera Bank account to an account at another financial institution) from within the mobile banking app.
- Tap Transfers
- TapManage Accounts
- TapAdd Accounts
- SelectExternal then complete the fields and clickContinue
- Complete the one-time security verification
- Verify information is correct, then tapSubmit Transfer
Within the next few business days, the account will be confirmed, at which point you can begin sending external transfers.
Transfer Descriptions¶
You can now add a description to transfers made within the mobile app. The description will show in the account activity to help you keep track of the purpose of the transaction or other details you want visible.
- TapTransfers
- TapMake a Transfer
- Complete the fields (From, To, Amount, Description and Frequency)
- TapContinue
- Verify information is correct, then tapSubmit Transfer
Bill Pay Enhancements¶
You can now add Bill Pay* payees, edit or delete payees, and schedule payments within the mobile app.
To add a payee:
- TapBill Pay
- Tap Add Payee
- Type the name of the payee
- Select the payee or tapCreate New Payee
To edit a payee:
- Tap the payee icon (people)
- Tap the payee you want to edit
- TapEdit
To schedule a payment:
- Tap Pay a Bill
- Tap the payee you wish to pay
- Complete each section (pay from, send on, amount, description (optional) and frequency)
- TapContinue
Running Balances¶
As requested by clients, we have added running balances to account activity screens so you will see the balance with each new transaction that posts to an account.
The transactions screen will show you the last five transactions, with the option to view all transactions with the tap of a finger.
Check & Deposit Images¶
You can now view check and deposit images within the app.
To view a check:
- Tap the account
- Tap the check
- TapView Image
To view a mobile deposit:
- TapDeposit
- Tap the deposit you want to see
- TapView Image next to the item you want to see (front or back)
Display Options¶
Your daily mobile deposit and external transfer limits are now listed so when you make a mobile deposit or external transfer, you know instantly if you are within your limit. Anything above the limit would need to be deposited at one of our branch locations.
In addition, you may mask or unmask account and routing numbers when on the Account screen.
Zelle® QR code¶
We have added the ability to scan a Zelle®* QR code directly from the person you want to pay or request a payment from. You can also display your own QR for others to scan, making paying with Zelle® even easier!

Personal Finance¶
Access our comprehensive Personal Finance* tools within the convenience of your mobile app!
- See all your accounts in one place.Personal Finance provides account aggregation, allowing you to easily add external accounts (meaning, accounts that are not at ARB) and view them together with your ARB accounts on your online banking homepage.
- Categorization is easy and automated.Simple transaction descriptions and automatic categorization can be used across bothyour American Riviera Bankand externally heldaccounts.
- Great widgets to help you understand and manageyour finances.You can view your personal data in a variety of ways, such as budgets, spending, net worth, debts, and trends.
- It's free.Simply enroll and you are on your way!
Enhanced Security Features¶
Forgot your username or password? No problem! Use theTrouble singing in? feature on the login screen.

You can also change your user ID and password in the mobile app:

- Tap the Username or Password to make updates
Online Account Opening¶
You can now open a new account using the login screen of the mobile app!
- Tap Open New Account
- SelectI'm already a customer
- TapSign in with Deposit Account
- Verify your identity with your name, social security number, email address, one of your account numbers and the available balance as listed in online banking.
- Follow the prompts to select and open the new account.
