Duel trends of 2024, the Girl Next Door fresh Clean beauty the glamor of the Godfather era, and their loyal women. The core of both these movements is one of choice. Beauty has been democratized, where the user at the end of the day chooses the look they prefer. It also becomes about aesthetics for the occasion, from glamorous award nights and events to weddings or corporate dressing, makeup and beauty are increasingly about the choice of the individual.#New #blog, for more, click the link below;https://lnkd.in/d7uufZ-U#blog #bcpl

“You are visible and you deserve to be seen”Here, model Alison Williams proudly wears one of our exclusive (In)Visible Strike Out Ageism T-Shirt, while candidly addressing the challenges of modelling in your 50s and underscoring the importance of visibility.Championing ageing & striking out invisibility is a core message in our Strike Out Ageism campaign, first launched on International Women's Day in 2021. Ground-breaking and ahead of its time, it continues to be just as relevant today, and we’re proud its message and visuals continues to inspire others, from individuals to brands alike, to actively be a part of positive social change.Equal & diverse representation of ALL ages is vital, and we love seeing more and more women, like Alison, using their voice & platform to improve visibility. At Ageism Is Never In Style® we're proud to have been instrumental in helping women launch or develop new modelling careers: Alison herself modelled for our ‘Ending The Age Of Invisibility’ 50+ free stock imagery project last year, and has since gone on to reach new heights in her modelling career and sign with an agent. And right now we have an OPEN CASTING CALL for women 55+ to apply to model in an upcoming age-positive fashion campaign for womenswear brand Ambrose Wilson. No previous modelling experience is required, and ALL sizes, shapes, ethnicities, hair styles, and abilities and more are invited to apply. For a long time, I was hiding from being seen.Yes, the woman who helps other women be seen was hiding from being seen!As a stylist, my job was working behind the scenes, helping women in the forefront to shine. But when it came time for me to do my own photoshoots and videos, I found it… uncomfortable. I feared that putting myself centerstage would take away from my message.I didn’t think it was relevant for me to be in front of the camera. Didn’t think it mattered. But it did matter. Because in reality, my audience is wondering ‘who are you really and why should I trust you?’My story, my face and why I came to do what I’m doing, were just as important to my potential clients as the work that I do. It allowed people to see themselves in meI realized that I was being selfish in my reluctance to be on camera. What mattered most was showing up for my audience and letting them see who I really was - someone they could trust, they could look at, hear my voice, read my story, and decide if I was going to be the person to help them. When people get to know the person behind the vision and the ideas, it gives your work new meaning and credibility. Being seen is not an “ego” thing… It’s a necessity. Especially if you have an important message or vision you want to get out into the world. So, how are you showing up?How are you allowing yourself to be seen?xx,Elsa#Style#FashionStylist#WardrobeStylist#FashionAdvice#WomensFashion#CelebrityStylist#StyleInspo#FashionTips#ProfessionalWomen#SuccessfulWomen
