10:10 Life is a two-year discipleship journey at The Church of Eleven22 rooted in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

As long as our doors are open we will leverage ourselves and this church for His kingdom. Here are some of the highlights from this last season.

At The Church of Eleven22, we are a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Church Life encompasses all the ways we come together as a church family to help us accomplish this vision. We do this through weekly worship gatherings, Eleven22 Kids and students, disciple groups, Eleven22 Online, next steps and our four primary events that make up Eleven22 Life – Easter, Beach Baptism, Saturated and Christmas Eve.

ELEVEN22 ONLINE

On July 5, we were able to celebrate a next step of faith alongside some of our Eleven22 Online family from Springfield, IL through believer’s baptism. Carrie and Matt Buchanan traveled over 1,000 miles to be baptized with their church family in the Atlantic Ocean!

ELEVEN22 ONLINE TESTIMONY

I grew up going to church, baptized as a baby, completed confirmation classes as a teen, but it was something you just did.We visited Florida and attended Eleven22 with friends. My first impression was that it wasn’t church, as it was not my traditional church, but the worship music moved me.I remember hearing "What a Beautiful Name" and just feeling Jesus moving in my soul.

Each visit we also went to the beach, my happy place, I feel peace when I'm there. The ocean reminds me of God's great wonder. There are times when the waves are rough, but God is there guiding and even carrying us to the calm waters.I felt an urge to be baptized again, but through immersion-buried with Jesus and risen again.

I saw highlights from Eleven22 beach baptisms, but my timing didn't align.Last July I was diagnosed with breast cancer.During this time, I felt God carrying me through and sawHim in my life.He placed butterflies strategically to remind me He was there, and I was ready for my transformation with Him.

The Sunday before my surgery my husband and I were attending our church in Il. As the worship team started playing "Gratitude," I was overcome with emotion and felt my surrender. In that moment I felt I was a child of God and knew Jesus was my Lord and Savior.I felt His strength and knew I was not alone;I could do all things with Him.

“Gratitude” is my favorite song!Gratitude for an early diagnosis, my family, my friends, doctors, strength and God's love.It was how I was trying to live since diagnosis. It was my reminder to "throw up my hands and praise you again and again..."no matter the season.I knew I was ready to be baptized in the ocean.

As we planned our next trip to Florida I was directed to Dan Knight. He guided me and set up a baptism. As I started the process, my husband felt the urge as well. On July 5, 2024, we were baptized together in the Atlantic Ocean. We are now ready to continue our faith journey together. Glory to God for calling us to Him.

1825 Ministry

In June we sent an 1825 mission team made up of 35 individuals to serve with 6:8 Ministries in Costa Rica.

While serving with 6:8 our young adults:

  • Assisted with their outreach to the homeless community in Alajuelita

  • Served a Nicaraguan refugee community

  • Visited with and ministered to local families

  • Partnered with their children’s program in Horquetas

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Through the Eternal Life initiative, we will continue to make room for one more. As a church, our goal is to plant 1,000 churches, send 100 long-term missionaries, and launch 22 campuses by 2029.

Campus Launches

Over 200 people participated in a prayer ride to Wildlight to join together in fellowship and to pray for the community surrounding the future campus.

On July 21 we hosted an interest night at Yulee elementary school for our new Wildlight campus. Over 500 people attended, where we worshiped, prayed for our one mores, the campus team and the Yulee community. The Wildlight portable campus launches on October 6 at 9am and 11:22am with our newest Campus Pastor, James Hall. With plans for a permanent campus to open in the fall of 2026.

Campus Launches COMING SOON

God has provided opportunities for us to launch new campuses and make room for one more. Join us as we celebrate the following campuses that are coming soon.

  • Wildlight - Portable fall 2024 | Permanent fall 2026

  • St. Johns – Permanent summer 2025

  • Orlando - fall 2025

SHORT-TERM SENDING TESTIMONY

"It’s hard to describe what going on a mission trip does to you. God awakens your heart and gives you a glimpse of His heart for YOU and for those you are there to serve. We are reminded to rely on Him. It can be difficult to ask others to be a part of your mission trip by giving, but that part is so important—He will not only use you while you are on mission, but He is doing something in those that support you. From family and friends who are not believers becoming continual supporters of the mission, you see how God will use us all.

When going on a short-term mission trip we are reminded to live on mission everywhere you go. We have no control of what will happen or when it will happen, it’s scary, but it’s also the best thing! You learn to be flexible, His schedule is not always our schedule—it can and will change quickly. You realize that God is doing something, and He wants our first “yes” to continue to be a yes on the table.

This year I was asked to co-lead a group of 20 individuals, and while that seemed overwhelming it was the most rewarding thing I’ve ever experienced. I saw fears turn into a “yes” time and time again. God showed up like only He can—I saw worldly comforts change to God’s desires, chains broken, relationships restored, families reunited and 20 strangers turn into family.

Going on a mission trip is LIFE-CHANGING in the best way. If you are thinking that you want to go, but are afraid of the unknown, don’t be! Trust that God is calling you to GO and wants you to experience Him in new and amazing ways. You will not regret it.” Dannett King, St. Johns campus

Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” Through the Abundant Life initiative, we are going on a mission to rescue the people the Enemy is trying to take out and fight for the people who cannot fight for themselves.

FIGHT FOR THE UNBORN

Our ministry partners First Coast Women’s Services and Skylark help their clients make informed decisions regarding their pregnancies by sharing medically accurate, life-affirming information.

Since the launch of the 10:10 Life, we celebrate:

  • 2,088 babies saved at FCWS (NE Florida)

  • 75 babies saved at Skylark (Jesup)

Anti-human Trafficking

Ministry partner, Arize Together, builds a forever community with women coming out of human trafficking. They seek to join women in breaking the cycle of sexual exploitation.

We celebrate that this spring, 10 members secured housing. A lack of stable housing leaves women vulnerable to exploitation. Amongst these women is Shirley, who was able to purchase a home through our partnership with HabiJax. Shirley is a walking picture of the gospel, and her life has been transformed over the last decade.

We praise the work that God has done in the lives of these women, pray with us for their continued protection.

Through this partnership 37 women are currently living in freedom from being sexually exploited.

CHILDHOOD POVERTY

On May 6, Hope’s Closet hosted a “Summer Kickoff Party” at the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida, complete with a silent disco, bounce houses, shell painting and a pizza party to help “kickoff” summer for their elementary through high school students.

We received the following testimony following the event.

"I wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for the amazing Club Party. The team was wonderful, positive and brought so much joy to the Club Kids. Our partnership with The Church of Eleven22 & Hope's Closet is truly changing lives! We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many strong, influential young people in our community to help uplift the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. Through our partnership we are truly changing the trajectory of the next generation." Becky Lowry, CMP, Manager of Community Engagement—Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida.

senior adults

On June 1, we held our first Senior Adult Connect Event. This gathering was an opportunity for our senior adult community to build community, engage in discipleship and to be equipped to fulfill their role in the Great Commission. We saw many of these 85 people take a next step by joining disciple groups, begin serving and sign up for mission trips. Some of our campus staff joined to share stories, teach from God's Word and encourage all who were present.
